i saw this at ikea tampines yesterday,and yes encouraging the ignorant us to go green and conscious especially during this bad times-the killer climate,bad economy and crazy petrol prices.but how many of us would actually like to trade the fashion and comfort?and especially that the electric motorcycles do not have much power to accomodate the 'need for speed?'
long have us dreamt of electric cars-either generated by solar powered or by the tapping of power from the wall socket.and it is so not true,if someone will say that we don't have the technology to manufacture electric vehicles-we build tunnels across the seas,we send rockets beyond the clouds and we you think we can't work out a factory building elec vehicles in masses and to be distributed islandwide and across the globe?
the truth is,they don't want you to drive an electric car.they want you to drive the automobiles that they build and charge you prices you have to struggle in debt trying to pay in your lifetime.these giant corporations rely on you,and pressing the power of each country to squeeze each and one of us dry with taxes of every kind,and no they can't stop now,not until the oil wells are dried and there no more oil countries left to invade.
sad but true,if everybody drive a simple electric powered vehicle-big time companies-be it in the oil industry or car makers and slowy even governments which the companies have investments in will collapse,and we should instead opt for cheaper,greener alternative.
there is still hope.but will it ever happen,let's hope so.

truly,i was destined to catch hold of Suede's non-album single 'Stay Together',and yesterday,i was drawn to step into a cd store in the crowded Parkway Parade shopping centre,like a scanning device; my fingers scrolled down the rows of cds,squinted eyes and i almost screamed for joy,as i unbelievably got what i've been looking for all this while.it was a bit pricey,but i grabbed the cd close tight to my hands,darted straight to the counter and dug deep into my pockets,and nothing could stop me from buying it.and as i handed over to the cashier,he gently asked for,"$10.80 please,sir."oh boy was i really happy-at discounted rate-50%-the whole store,in fact the whole mall,the whole nation,celebrating the Great Singapore Sale.and no wonder the place was packed with people of all shapes and sizes.

For the many years i've been under sun,at both work and play times,i swear it has never been this hot so far-and i'm not the only one grumbling.we were running a family day event at the wet park yesterday,it was too hot to do anything actually,what started off as a beautiful sunny day turned to burning temperature at noon,clear blue skies with not a single cloud above.there were even some who approached me to intensify the fan speed,coz it doesn't seemed to be effective at all,we were all caught under the tentage,sweating and praying that the rain would come and we were all punished quite badly.and not only in the day it's hot,even at nights too.

My first 'official' attempt,digitally manipulating the above pic,with me and a rare vespa.raw,dodgy look and obvious fake but nevertheless it took me couple of hours just to do this.all this while i just use simple photo editors but earlier today,my fellow good friend,bro hilmi patiently showed me the basic features of adobe photoshop and the most awkward part was that i have to learn the process by using his Mac,and boy,it sure do take me some time to familiarise with it,and also since it was during working hours that i've to sneaked to his office with the occasional phone rings from other colleagues who were looking for me,but since there wasn't much things to do,and with the fact that i've completed what i'm supposed to do,i guess it's alright for me to do such but i believe the boss won't agree much with my actions,anyway,i'm thirsty for more and already searching for tutorials online and really can't wait for my next 'sneakin'' session.

i've been totally possessed by the fanciful vespa scooter demons,i think.and pssst...it's not an excuse to get rid of my beloved 'maryjane',i still do very much love it,but its just these small yet loud crankin' two-wheelers which caught my attention,not those fast fazers or hayabusas,it is vespa which i'm pretty much in love with.vespa-it got character,flava,style,substance and the list goes on.each and every time i'm on the road,i always keep a lookout for these nasty machines,and no matter how ugly it may look to most,they look really cool to me,and the scooterists who rode on those,are simply the coolest dudes on planet earth,i kid you not.

i imagined my choice of scooter would be similar as the picture on top,yes either in military or olive green,but the seat i prefer it to be in black,no i don't wanna fast racing scooter,i like it like how its meant to be;slowly & cranky.hmmm can't wait to get one!such a sweet darling!

i wanna get one!!!!!and i even got some button badges on me jacket,like em scooter mods!(or soccer hooligan,whichever whatever!)and mind you,though it aint a vespa i'm ridin now but i am still riding a scooter!my italiano camouflaged maxi scoot!

frustration!

it's not that we didn't win the premiership this season;it's just stuffs that i like and i couldn't get it anywhere here in SG!Fifa09-an addiction which i couldn't live without-an obsession in manager mode-and during end season and i volunteered myself to a French team St Ettiene that i grew fond of their jersey with bold white 'Konica Minolta' displayed across-in green,black and white.and every time i got a chance,i'll go around on my scoot checking out all the footy jersey stores here and it has been disheartening.the last resort-online purchase and so they said.the exact thing occurred again when the search for adidas classis samba sneakers which turned sour;but i actually did bumped onto this pair but different samba model and it looked too dodgy with a rip-off price tag which i obviously didn't agree instantly.almost got it online but upon purchasing,the sneakers vanished..strange...

and finally,i felt its really hopeless and gave up straining my eyes,rummaging stacks and rows after rows of cds;from one cd store to the other,from one salvation army thrift store to the other,in vain,searching for the london suede stay together album which contain just few songs-but its that very few songs which i really love listening,and its not the same quality and feel,compared to downloading the same songs online.i want the real thing and that is the hardest to achieve.

i've been real busy,my daily schedule choked up with plentiful endless jobs and errands i wish i could freeze up time and take a stroll by the beach-and my free times-wait..what free time?all free time occupied with lotsa stuffs as well-and good thing i've managed to finish a book,and there are still plenty more that i've bought and compiling dusts at the rack-i 've just gotta find a good slot.

sacrificed my day off clearing my stuffs at home-i could hardly open up my cupboard and so i had to sadly part with clothes that i couldn't fit in no more-packed the bundle into a bag which probably being shipped out to somewhere in the distant island of Riau-towards a place where somebody who could probably benefit from my pack-and enjoy wearing the clothes as much as i did.

my watch collection-and i managed to get some from Minerva and a watch holder from the kind owner of the neighbourhood watch store near my place for free.and with that it completed my mission of having all my calc watches displayed on nice watch holders.

i am so tired but i'm so restless...it's already half past ten at night but i'm still here at work-and thanks to the dumb person who think its a good idea to lock up the toilets after 7pm,and if anybody need to use the toilet,the nearest is situated in another building,which is about another 3mins walk from the office.and that toilet is always wet and dirty,and i've been restraining myself all this while....
