Cupid's Chokehold-Gym Class Heroes

Spending the last day of my 'term break',reminiscing the good fun times, the only thing i missed out,to watch the complete Lord Of The Rings which is still wrapped up in plastic-i could not find a decent slot to lay back and watch the movie trilogy-plenty of things to do,too much time all pre-occupied with things i love to do and i did actually manage to do most that i wanted-only that sunrise in Yishun and Kranji and Neo
Tiew pre-dawn photo opportunity that i really loved to do and capture someday, perhaps.i can't really imagine that all's left now, just memories, recorded in images in cramped thumbdrive, and all those places i've went i don't know when the next time i'll return,i can't really picture the big picture when i'm back to work tomorrow.Hmmm..

and almost half of my break-i've actually contributed my time & energy in a school quite near to my place with some good old friends who invited me to decorate the walls of the library and the IT room.and during that short period of time i helped to lacquer, applied base-coating,paint the walls and myself(fingers, pants, face and my pair of boots).i was quite surprised actually, upon entering the primary school, right from the entrance all the way up,at any angle, any surface-the whole entire place-there were useful informations;cross section cut outs of human

body, mathematical time table on the stair way, interactive science corner to name some-hey it's so good that i was actually drawn and glued to all the infos-even at the water cooler there's an info about the percentage of water in the body and all that.how i wished my primary school was just like that.
and there's a piano by the staircase, while i was busily doin' the walls-every now and then-there will be a kid hitting the keys-playin' mozart and beethoven and boy was i really impressed-goodness sake-there were just primary school kids-and they're really good.
and there were all so jovial and carefree-i wish i'm like them,again..and watching my 63 years old friend doin' what he knew best-painting-i could really melt-he was one of those old school folks who painted the movie banners back then-and how he told me that they used to paint 36 huge movie banners for every single movie-and they come in 3 different sizes, and from that massive order before-it shrunk to only one banner each movie today-and you can see it at some chinatown theatre downtown.he was so good,i wish i'm like him too.and it's such a poor thing, that with the skills that he possess-he's redundant with today's modern technology.

and the canteen food galore-cheap and good!i wish i could go back there again!

earlier today, from morning all the way till 8pm-me and minerva went for our studio and outdoor photo shoot-heck it was really tiring but fun!!!!

Goodbye Holiday,Hello Work!!

Cheers!

Shut Up & Let Me Go-The Ting Tings

it was a rather boring wednesday,i was awake the early morning watching football on the telly, and was asleep right till 2pm in the afternoon.did my routine chores and stuffs, did my regimental run around the estate in the burning hot sun,had my lunch watching a violent kungfu movie, lost my appetite and got dressed up and head out grabbed my kata backpack and cool shades, without a clue, but before i could think of something i was already cruisin' towards yishun dam, major construction, the houses on the water vanished and big lorries unloading dusts hogging the road,so i moved on to seletar camp, more construction and more houses were either flatten or demolished halfway, like a giant robot had trampled them over the night before, all the nice little houses there were gone too,and they barricaded the roads;i managed to sneaked in,only to find out it's an abandoned and dilapidated military facility.no i don't feel like alice,

the place was really terrifyingly spooky, but i plucked enough courage, unzipped my bag, lashed out my nasty Oly,and climbed over the decaying parapet, snappin' every single corners, like i never gonna return to that place again,oh yeah, quite right..i will never quite return to that place again..unless you wanna tag along..

Drifting Along-Jamiroquai

Yesterday marked the 1st day of my official rest-which will last all the way to the end of this month.i didn't really plan a plan for this break,i though i just wanna do something just to kill time, making full use of this much available time and produce something good.

so yesterday me and girl braved the super heat, all the way to china square, and its been awhile since i last dropped by,checkin' out the flea market.and we just love flea markets (and who doesn't?)the old, weird stuffs, toys, old records, junks and stuffs-i just love the sunday atmosphere at flea markets, everybody's takin' their time, every body smilin' even the if the sun is burnin' the already charred skin,it's feel good time-the adventure of goin through each stall, diggin the hidden treasures buried amongst the pile of stuffs and then come the bargaining part.i just love it.

1-die cast spidey-$7.00
2-oasis & jamiroquai cds-$1.00 each
3-goldie's auto parts and kikstyo japanese tees-$28.00 for both
4-rodenstock old skool white frame-$5.00
5-d&g animal print bag-$10.00
6-xmen magneto 12"-$10.00

and along the way back, crazy traffic jam on the benjamin sheares, and weaving thru the hold up vehicles,we were stunned of what which had caused the jam-a huge python in the middle of the road which caused the traffic commotion.crazy scary but true.
and that not the only snake we bumped onto, another one seasnake at changi coast, some dumb father showing off his stoning skills to his family, and the poor snake wriggling its way quick towards the sea when the stone brushed its side.that is really negative parenting,i really wish he gets his equal portion of retribution.

HAppy Working Folks!!!!!!!

Again-Lenny Kravitz

as far as i could recall,i was clutching on to my lappy as i lay back on the soft cushioned mattress but i could not fight myself;i felt so tired and dozed off, shirtless in the air conditioned room till i felt heat on my thigh-the laptop-i put it aside and continued my sleep all the way till noon earlier-about 13hours of sleep altogether.

i was restless for the past few nights,(or as always-every night.)i mean was really active for the past few nights-and the one that really stripped off my energy and strength was Good Friday's eve, when i could not revive my scooter after filling up petroleum juice in the tank-i was stuck with Nazir at the gas station, which coincidentally just opposite my workshop-so i pushed to the workshop and we met mimi and ismail for another skate session, but more on foot,in search of the 'lost' mini skate park somewhere in the dim, quiet bendemeer neighbourhood in the wee hours of the morning.and finally we asked some dudes the location of the park, they shook their heads and said,"The ramps are gone..."and so we were in vain.tired and totally disappointed.we walked all the way to beach rd,mimi and mail left home on bike, leaving me and nazir by the road, chatting and drinking green tea till we finally felt bored,so we walked all the way to Sims drive and took the night rider bus back home.it was really a long winded journey,i almost puked and peed in the bus.hotdamn.

the workshop was closed the next day,i could only retrieve the scooter on saturday afternoon, and had to rush back to work for Dragon Force concert.

now i can't wait for friday...........

Be Yourself-Audioslave

It's not by coincidence, that the movie,Matrix,is more than just another entertaining flick, and you must have brushed aside all the facts they've presented,at least i did before,i thought it was just a mere fantasy, cyberpunk movie with a twist and i felt it's awkwardly strange that the Wachowski bros did what they did, especially after what Noreaga and Achenarr had presented in the Arrivals-strange but true, the plot, even the props and backdrops to street and all the characters' names, have deeper meaning, both hidden or direct.
