sweet!this what i 've gotten myself for $30.00 at the flea market today.i know what some will respond to this but hey i've gottta pamper myself,can't i?

i'm close to getting a mint set of 5 classic G.I.Joe series for $150,but i walked away pretending that i didn't see any of that or i might end up impulsive,getting myself into trouble as my other half was already grumbling when i helped myself to the Joe in the pic-but it was dirt cheap-there wasn't any packaging and the dude who sold me the accessories were helluva guy-he was real nice,he even gave away some stuffs free when other stalls selling those lil stuffs at ridiculous price that you can even get yourself a nice fresh tee.hauled those lil thing and shoved it down the bag.Minerva gotten herself some dodgy looking dvds-2 for $5- which packaging looked like some just illegally recorded the flicks in the theatre but was jumping with joy once she tested it back home that the movies were crystal clear-now never judge a book by its cover!

that's the best thing about flea marts-surprises at a good bargain price!

hmmmmmm...a long sigh and tomorrow is another boring monday at work.
and in the evening our usual monday Sirah class.it's another long monday oh man i desperately need that rest i've longed for!

Heavy Chains-Loudness

not your peculiar friday morning.
the air is bad with whiffs of stale smoke stench each time i inhale i felt a slight discomfort in my chest.and there's this haze again a clear indication that some nearby forested place is up into flames again.

i saw an accident today.
the traffic was building into a jam,and as i weaved in through i saw an ambulance on the opposite side of the road,some bike patrols officers directing the traffic and a girl,who was bandaged on her face and arms and another roaring in pain as the medics ushered him onto the stretcher.whoa!what a sight.i hope those folks just got away with superficial injuries,nothing serious i hope.

it's only 9.30am
and i've already beginning to feel sleepy,and looking at my schedule today,oh boy it's gonna be a long day ahead.

sucking on lozenges with hope that it will eventually soothe the throat after a night of mad coughing .i felt better,tolerating only a slight sharp pain on the back of the head and the irritating drips of snot rolling slowly down the nostrils.the body aching especially the neck and shoulder areas.i needed that rest,and i'm quite fortunate that i only resume work this thursday.so during this period,i've no other plans but to rest and recuperate till i get better.
we tried moving off with Bella earlier,but due to the brake cable which was pulled a lil too much,it won't budge.so i've gotta fix this,and that can only be done by wednesday.
the shops were deserted,only a mere handful are open for business while the rest decided to close for this chinese new year holiday.
oh the throb,they are starting again.i drank lotsa water,and due to that,i made countless trips to the toilet unleashing my woes,but its all for my own good,and now i feel way much better compared to yesterday.

the wife said we're going to sengkang later,to spend the evening kite flying,probably fellow sg hobby,next to fishing and le foot,i'm reluctant actually but i think it would be sweet to join them instead of kicking back alone at home.

Lose Control-Missy Elliot

in my room,contemplating to ride to ebok's place,but since morning i've been sneezing and sharp thorns began developing in my throat,wet snot dripping down my nostrils,a slow throb headache already commenced as i typed this.
i have to skipped my plans and recuperate at home instead.
outside,is a perfect evening to spend the remaining day with ur loved ones,but i have to refute the whole idea and lay in my bed,who knows tomorrow i'll be strong like a horse again.

bella.
as planned,the whole week was concentrated on her,with days and nights of back breaking sanding and applying putty on the italian machine,the work was done by last evening.but by then i was already feeling totally burnout and i guess all the dusts settling in my throat which made me ill today.
i am feeling exultant,too bad there's no champagne popping and confettis spraying the air with loud music to accompany the atmosphere.not all that.it's the feeling that i finally accomplish a task,despite some problems which i encountered during the project.with all the good buddies which contributed their help and advice,a big thank you.
in all,i spent about $150,the autopaint,thinner,hardener and all the works for the project restoration on Bella,now it looked dazzling and charming with the new look.there are some minor parts which initially i thought i of replacing anew,but after giving a thorough cleaning,i changed my mind,it pretty much good and fit altogether.i even added a griptape on the floorboard,just experimenting around,and let's hope it stick long enough till the next time i decided to change it.
brake cable
it was a big mistake of listening to Vincent,the break cable which he released caused much panic when i tried to fit it back,so i had to rush down to the workshop last night,and sad thing was,they don't have any break cables and the best they could do was pulling the cables and could last for a few days.it's chinese new year and most shops are closed,so i guess i can wait.
