ChatterBox-New York Dolls

this is my final night of my month long leave spree-and by tomorrow afternoon,i'm back to work, officially.but hey, don't have to be sad,i'll have my jolly breaks again, after all,i know how to break the stress at work,i know how to plan time, how to juggle work, play and now, yeah,*blush* a family.

now ever since the week before the Big Ceremony,i've been stuffing and swallowing food of variety kinds,be it healthy or otherwise, and i've stopped exercising during that period too,and every single day i've took chocolates, candies, and all the Godsend heavenly sweets.
and after a very, very long time,i've even started slurpin' Coca Cola.now i feel huge,i could even notice my lil tummy bulging slightly, and if i don't stop what i've started,it won't be call lil tummy no more.and if i neglect further, the bad sugar level might develop into some scary complications,oh God!NO!

prevention is always better than cure, and i strongly believe that i should start the regime once again, and it shall commence, this lovely monday!i hope..and well i have to locate a new jogging route here in tampines but i'm very sure i'll adapt to the environment quick and with no problemo at all.

adapt.
and i'm slowly yet surely adapting to my new home here in tampines with minerva's family, and everything is so lovely & good, and my workplace is even nearer here, just about 10mins scooter ride away.

and even till today there are still well wishers, offering prayers and blessings even from families, friends and observant strangers,we felt deeply touched, and then those folks who posted and shared our wedding pictures together in FB,even as late as yesterday there were still some who posted the wedding pictures-all the good people sharing the spirit of love and happiness,WOW,i've never imagined it's this massive-all the effort and contributions from everybody that we know, and some that we don't whom were probably the extended family's families or friends, long lost friends that came and share the joy & those who made our wedding event successful and fun and all that,Alhamdulillah,in the name of God,it may had some minor glitches here and there but overall it all went smooth.and to all our family and loved ones, all the good friends from afar and near,A BIG THANK YOU,and May Allah have his blessings on each one & all of you,Insya Allah.

all you Shiny,Happy People.
It's All Good!

Made Of Stone-The Stone Roses

Hiya Mate!
the mack is back.

back from the unforgettable NZ trip-the so unplanned,no prior research of where to visit & whatnot, even no advance booking of hotel stay and so on,and i guess that's what made this honeymoon trip daringly adventurous-

after about 7 hours of backbreakin' journey on the plane,we switched to another at sydney and another 3 hours to christchurch, where we disembarked and begun our wonderful bitterly cold experience.

now christchurch is a pretty laid back city, the vehicles travel at 60-70km/h,no rush,no sight and no sound of anyone running-the city square itself is a small town with its old majestic cathedral prominently situated in the middle of it.we crashed at Hotel So-charging at $99 per night-it's rather a small room for the moany ones;but in fact it's stylish and cleverly designed with a huge LCD tv by the comfortable bed,a sliding glass toilet with funky lights that could be set according to each individual moods,a bedroom fridge under the bed, hairdryer, iron and board and everything else, cool spot, smacked at the city square itself with a genuine Halal Kebab store conveniently smacked right beside the hotel itself.and for those party animals who doesn't wanna spend a lot-they can pop party pills at $25 per packet sold LEGALLY at stores all over town.weird but true.

our flight to queenstown was cancelled for the second time due to some bad visuals and hazy fog or something but the airline compensated with a coach to taxi us and despite the bloody 8hrs of sitting restlessly on the bus,we actually enjoyed the journey by land, with the all beautiful true new zealand landscape and farms and mountains and sheeps and cows and all that, with the amazing picturesque firsthand view-we stopped for breaks at Omarama-a cowboy town surrounded by mountains and Geraldine town-i swear to God that's the best place to retire!those hobbitts' like cute cottages with tall glass windows and no grills,a small garden and a quiet neighbourhood makes it ideal for folks like me and you!without the dogs of course..

and queenstown-the first time when the bus ran down the icy slopy roads towards the town,i was drooling-it is one of the most coolest towns i've ever seen, small town with giant mountains with snowtops overlooking us below, the temperature dropped to -2 degrees when we first set foot,it was extremely cold for me.we headed to an i-site station where the lovely officer assigned us to an A-Line hotel at $105 rate nightly;the hotel was 5 minutes walk from the i-site office, but to get there we had to walk a steep slope, panting and dragging our luggages, with thick jacket and lugging so many things with us we were almost out of breath upon checking in to the comfortable hotel.

went up the mountain and took a chairlift to the Coronet peak,a 25 minutes bus journey-and it was excitingly, crazily cold!!!cheeks and lips dried & swell in mere minutes!

bungy jumping as kai and nuras suggested-but after careful discussion we decided to snowboard instead-and that wasn't my idea actually,so we -and rented gears and signed up for the snowsports school starter course with our lovely swiss instructor,Keni.same concept as riding a skateboard or surfin, only difference-its on ice.need lotsa balancing and dodging lotsa other skiers and boarders-from infants to old folks you'll never believe some as old as my grandma who put on their skis and braved the slippery snow slopes, and i just admire that!and you should try that as well!

we had plentiful jolly good fun times there and felt it was real short, but we might come back someday, this time better prepared with proper clothing and bigger luggage bags!

Goodbye NZ,Hello Tampines!
Cheers!

Soma-The Smashing Pumpkins

it's few months short close to a decade that i've been working at the same workplace still since i left the army, and it has been that long that i've actually crashed a space for myself and call it a pad;from the heydays of that container at a dodgy carpark which housed the mascots to a double storey storage by the park, with salty seabreeze and cooing crows in the morning.and only to return home on day offs or the occasional pinch of 'I miss home-cooked food' that inspired me to go back home at times.
plenty of crazy and wild stuffs have i experienced along the way,'being away from home' and i've actually learnt myself of how to be independent and discipline-from washing own clothes to cooking to keeping the pad neat and clean and stuffs like that-and turned out that i was actually looking forward to work and chill at the pad at the end of the day, resting or doing things that i love to do all by myself,it's a place of solace, where i felt SO peaceful and calm.silk screening, reading books, drawing, painting, experimenting stuffs and the list is endless and never have i actually would believe that this comfort stay will come to an end,or if you ask me about 9 years back, i will laugh to the idea of settling down and leaving the boy's pad behind.with a heavy weight dragging me,i'm having mixed feelings-both happy and sad,and that i have no option but to leave the place,as in days from now,i am finally goin' to end my bachelorhood, and live alongside my 'Beloved Love-of-my-Life' together, with blessings and prayers, with dreams and hope of 'a happily ever after'story.hmm and a new place i'm callin' "home".

A New Hope.Gonna miss it all but gotta move on!

Stay Together-Suede

Stages.we all move on through stages.and i'm going through a brand new stage of life, and i've never imagined myself going this far, with somebody who understands me deeply, with much love and affection.

tomorrow is the day i end my bachelorhood,my unglamorous life as a boring single person,a new journey comes,a new family with big lovely dreams ahead and bigger responsibility too,and i have to come home with somebody awaiting for my return each day,and we'll share our happiness and sadness together.just like in love songs, movies and fairy tales,i hope.

and time flies when we're having a good time-and with blessings and prayers from our Lord above,we shall have good time till the end of time, and what excites my lil heart every time i ponder,"once we're happily married and all,so what's the next plan, big man?"i wanna skip that for now, let's go step by step, our own space to nest then the next big plan,i guess..

to this lady,NurMarlia Omar, who's gonna share her life with me,deep from my heart,i just wanna say,

"I Love You More Today Than Yesterday!"

My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep;
The more I give to thee
The more I have,
For both are infinite.

Slip Into Something More Comfortable-Kinobe

i feel like screaming out loud, jumpin up in the air and makin' noises with my hands and feet, and at least,i could feel part of the stress flushed down out of my chest and head,i'm really lovin tis-i've passed succesfully the first aid course that my boss sent me,in the midst of marriage preparation leave.and with tons of stuffs to worry about for the 'Big Day',i've actually had to struggle juggle, and planned adequate period of self study which i had to somehow memorise proper CPR procedures, dressing of wounds, bandagin' fractures, heimlich maneuver and plenty other nitty gritty things which is totally alien to me before-but Thank God,with also guidance from helpful fellow course mates,i've managed to score the practical, theoretical and oral exam with ease.it was fun-we laughed hell lot!and just like that, with valuable knowledge that i'm equipped with now as certified First Aider,i will serve the community should there be any emergency which require my service!

Young Savage-UltraVox

what a surprise i got when i got home, not bad after a stressful day at the first aid class, not bad at all, mate!

was unloading the mess from my messenger bag,and as i stepped into my room i stumble upon a box on the stool,a package from melbourne!and like a lil boy was i anxious, too anxious i could feel myself drooling, and breathing too fast as i reached for my bunch of jangling keys to slice the scotch tape which seals the side, but it wasn't a perfect job and it's not good enough,so i ran to the kitchen's sink, grabbed the cold knife, and effortlessly,it ran across the edge of the box till it went all sides and i finally could see the mysterious content,Oooh!i was gasping for oxygen and was jumping for joy and boy was i really, truly, seriously happy!

Livin' On A Prayer-Bon Jovi

it's raining cats and dogs outside as i type this, with the occasional gusts of wind blowing into my room,a relief from the scorching heat period lately, and now comes the opposite-the unpredictable rain-the weather raging against us,its been a few days now,and i was caught in the rain not once, twice but three times yesterday, when i thought it was alright to move off on my scoot, and the rain had stopped but midway the skies turned and unleashed another set of heavy downpour complete with deafening thunder and flashes of lightning, halting my journey to a gas station, drenched and soaked, with murmurs of complain and cold shivers.looks like we all are going to expect another 'wet week' ahead.so standyby your brollies and wet weather programme,it doesn't look good, sonny.

maybe if you're observant enough you might catch those chemtrails in the skies above on the next sunny day.

H1N1 virus or the swine flu virus is now a global threat-and only last month the World Health Organisation has declared the H1N1 virus a 2009 pandemic which not only affect human but birds and pigs as well.it's transmitting fast and everybody is put on alert, with safety and health messages constantly broadcasted through the media or in form of poster ads or signages to encourage the public to practise good hygiene and to see the doctor and recuperate at home if develop flu/cough/fever to contain the spread of the deadly virus.

Drive-The Cars

we're in a new phase of an old time strategy, this shift should be understood by everyone,of who's actually running behind all the disasters and sufferings in our world today.and it's not by coincidence.it's real.they're running the major banking system across the globe and they're controlling governments and their main objective are acquiring mass profit gains and global dominion.

Judgement Day-The Thunderclaps

waddya think of girls with make ups?hey!there's nothing wrong with that actually but i don't prefer girls who most probably spend hours in their rooms with messy mirror tables, strewn with palettes of revlons and so on,putting on the latest trendy look on their faces just to look gorgeous,or maybe manipulating to cover up those wrinkles or those stubborn zits.but the fact is that behind the heavy laden mask the skin deteriorating with all the chemicals that those girls put on will have a very bad effect if not now, very sooner.

still i'm not against those girls,or boys, don't matter.

i'm actually, very much impress with them-don't scream-really impressive job they have done just to get it done-i mean the process of donning themselves up-using those thin brushes-dabbing,creating lines, smudging, mixing colours-it's actually an art.wait,it is an art.it takes steady hands to create a good make up.it also takes a good pair of steady hands to paint a canvas.and inspirations and vision as well.both-with careful strokes, will have fascinating, striking result.

but still,i like my girl the way she is,with no make ups.enjoy the vid below!

I Fought The Law-The Clash

as most of us on this part of the globe is resting on their comfortable beds and fluffy pillows with worries of completing their tasks and assignments at work tomorrow,to wake up on time and rush to work with hope that the journey to work will be smooth and free from congestions or the unpredictable wet weather,or praying the Boss won't give any additional unwanted jobs,so they can go home smiling and singin' or hummin' The Cure's Friday I'm In Love again and again..that's what some will be worrying about,at least here in SG.
but it doesn't look that good elsewhere-The Obama administration launched a massive mission and it is the marine's largest operation since Fallujah,Iraq in 2004.
Operation Khanjar or 'Strike Of The Sword' on the southern part of Afghanistan,is'to eliminate Taliban strongholds in that area' and to stabilize Afghanistan,a move by President Obama in his first major operation. The Talibans grew poppy plants in remote regions, and one of the major producer of opium in the world.

can't we all live in peace and harmony?
