In A.D. 325 the Council of Nicea fixed the date of Easter to fall on the first Sunday after the full moon on or after the vernal equinox (March 21).

Preparation for Easter season, initiating on Ash Wednesday and followed for a week after Easter Day, practicing pagan customs that had been revised in the light of Christianity.

There is no true significance of Easter in true Christianity.And Halloween especially,is an obvious celebration of darkness.
