i couldn't go for my day off swim n jog-it's raining cats and doggy dogg outside again.the house is rather quiet,only me,my bro and bagas the badass kitty who's probably bored to the max till he slept the entire time with me by the bedside.

i cooked.yes,i fried cabbages and salted fish today.kinda sick of instant noodles.yesterday i did the laundry and changed bagas's litter box,and was really frustrated,coz once i cleaned and swapped new sand for him,he jumped in and crap again.damn.

slept real late last night,i watched harold and kumar escaped from guantanamo bay.dumb movie but kinda funny.

well with this implementation,many will feel the pinch,especially,businesses in Johor Bahru,those who are working on either side of the causeway and need to travel home everyday and those who have families on both sides well.

i've quit hitting JB about 2 years ago.yes,i enjoyed myself,not only pumping cheaper unleaded petrol,but filling up my tummy with food and upon returning i bought magazines,crackers and fruits as well,just to clear all the malaysian currency especially coins,so that my wallet ain't cramped.and i don't mind tipping the fellow petrol workers or if there's any unfortunate poor guys around,i'll just give.

but the crazy traffic jam and that notorious queue at the customs awating clearance,made me quit.i'll rather park my scoot at some woodlands carpark and walk.it's way faster.

i couldn't sleep and its almost 2am.

been tossing and turning and focusing playing fifa08 on my psp and hey it's real addictive.it's the manager mode and i'm managing barcelona.bought mcmanus,kaka,renato augusto,pirlo and even beckham(damn!he's slow but his corners and free kick shots are a real killer.been months now that i've been glued to this game each night before i retire coz there are no other good games.but i'm still awaiting gta 04!haaa!

so premiership and champs league aside,and now the entire world are turning their attention on euro 2008.we're all counting days now and the team that i'm supporting,clearly and obviously-the andalusian-ESPANA!

he sent me a sms earlier in the evening,'When is your birthday?'
i replied my birthday is already over but he replied he's gonna give me a jersey.and when he shoved me a plastic bag with a red spain jersey in it,i was really shock.told me i can't accept that gift,but he said it's ok,he said to celebrate euro 2008.but when asked him which team he's supporting-he said with pride-Germany.


a brand new Spain jersey given by a friend.how wonderful it is and now that's really a drive.

the usual monday blues.

it doesn't really affect me,but it is really a freaky monday after all.i was awoken in a shock,i thought i was late for work,but after awhile after my mind started to register in proper order,i finally recalled myself that i was working in the pm shift.sure it felt different,when i sneaked out of the room and there wasn't a single soul at home except for bag-ass the bad-ass kitten frolicking with himself under the table.

ebok ain't around to tell me things and stuffs,she's been away to some wee island in the sun somewhere in Riau for days now.kinda miss her a bit.especially her cookings.

started off as a good day with a good song but things started to gloom as i hit TPE again,the weather wasn't really good and i was doomed midway;stopped my scoot,put on my rain jacket and pants and brave through the weather at 110km/h.well i was late for work actually,and thought the rain will be a good excuse but right after punggol,it was SO BRIGHT and SUNNY.

late,with no so good excuse,i just stepped in the office with my rainjacket and pants on,and so were their expressions-"Hey,izzit raining outside?last time i checked it was so hot?"..

"it's not,i got caught in the highway.."i replied.

"really,Sam?"

"yeah."

yeah it's not convincing enough,they most probably thought i was cooking the crap..

it's the school holidays again and already we are so busy here in the eastern end of lioncity,with all the upcoming and current events,you bet i need a long break.i wish.

and we complained so much,God heard us non-stop,right at the hour when i was traveling back home on the TPE,it was raining cats and dogs through out my journey on that highway,but as soon as i made me exit down along YCK rd,the road was as dry as a desert,well almost.the only things wet were windscreens,wet tyre marks trailing on the black tar and my black shoes.

It's so humid right now and i've been making many trips down to the kitchen to flush down my throat with plentiful water and at the same time somehow delivered many fluids down the toilet bowl as well.been so hot lately,even those irritating pimples started developing on my forehead again.

but something to cool down the scorching heat a bit,is that the latest 08/09 Liverpool jersey have finally invaded every Adidas boutiques here.but the grey checkered one that i MOST probably will purchase,are only be made available in stores in a couple of weeks,as said by the fake yet nice sales gentlemen that approached me in one of their stores yesterday.the new 'Red' one doesn't really look charming to be honest,the small gold crane on the upper back and the white and red checks on the inside are the only lil thing i like.and that's it.

and the best thing is,with the Great Singapore Sale lurking around the corners already,it's jolly well the best time to spend your back-breakin'-hard-earned-and-so damn-difficult-to-save money to SHOP!WHOO!

psssstt----and for a start-the new jerseys are already on sale at $99 per piece.WOW WOW WEEE!!!!now that's cheaper than last season,ok!

it's a very supersunny lazy thursday,i couldn't open me eyes,ese.i couldn't sleep last nite not coz i watch the champs league final but i watched the entire prison break's season 3 to the end.and now i gotta pay.

People Are Strange

Happy Vesak Day!

But i'm at work,still groggy,feeling tired and dragging my butt around.it's real hot outside,perspiring and ohh i can't live without my shades.

so many people,all walking here and there,families with children running around,very colorful holiday monday here at work.

my shoulders hurt a bit,been carrying around my backpack with all my cameras and stuffs,a big walk about,together with marlia,nazir and hidayah.i felt like a tourist,but that is not that.it's just that i don't really like the idea of being a tourist or worst,a photographer.and there were so many 'photographers' yesterday,all heavily armed (they should be arrested,don't they?)while i felt tiny,and tried to hide my cam each time we bumped onto one.

ohh how i wish i have a wide angle lens...

but it was fun,we took pics and talked and laughed.was a joyous evening though my shoulders still hurtin'.

planning for our next trip out together,hmm now pulau ubin is a good idea,but the thought of staying there overnight,hmmm not good.enough of those wild days back then of staying there without tents above our heads;pulau ubin was my homeground.and in my heart it's still is.

everything seemed to shot up skyhigh,things doesn't go cheap no more.no more.no less.

looking back at those years when things were cheap,we never imagined that it would be this bad this time.and do ya imagined about those who don't have proper jobs and they have to live day by day facing the expensive world we're living today.

and if they don't do something about the US dollars before it plummets to the ground,it will drag all of our sorry asses down as well.

and those poor cyclone victims in Myanmar,China ready for war with Taiwan,earthquakes hitting hard on many shores,are the not pretty signs of end times...

don't really know what that is.?it was about 5 to 6pm,there were so many people around,some were fishing and kids were buzzing around.strange.i don't remember there were smoke around either.

it was a self-rolled b&w film Sid gave me the last time i met him at the skatepark.so i tried it with my old minolta dynax;was handed over to me by marlia's uncle.cam still good,though there are signs of cracks and fungus growth.

anyway,this is what i like most about old school cameras and films.when you send the films for processing,you never know what ya gonna get..

bought the holga dirt cheap-$40,but the flash dead and the dumb ass dude who sold me the holga lost the 120mm back cover.all that is left,a panoramic 35mm holga.but sure it still could take pictures!

as far as i could stretch my mind back to my childhood innocence,apart from kids' flicks like Goonies,E.T. and The Monster Squad (but of course Star Wars but it doesn't fit in this category anyway..),i believe every lil soul who grew up with me(or like me)watching those movies,will forever be inspired and tried hard to imitate the action packed adventures in the most silly ways;like playing 'treasure hunt' in the tunnels of the monsoon drain and suprisingly still,apart from the common cuts and bruises,none of my fellow childhood buddies ever gone home and caught themselves with Hands,Foot and Mouth disease!ahh those glory days..
mischievous as always,especially over the weekends and during school breaks...

First Cut Is The Deepest

Another monday.

left home a lil earlier today,i went out to peninsula plaza to consult the camera 'Guru' with the yashica rangefinder that i bought the other day for a mere $65,a classic chrome 70s electro 35.

was a bit worried when the previous owner told me that i gotta use 4 button cells wrapped it up with scoth tape and get a spring,long enough to get electrical contact,inside the hollow batt slot.

so last night i bought few types of batt,turned out was not good.

and i told myself,i had to go see the camera specialist.

so i was there earlier,the old man who attended to me looked wise;i bet he could strip a camera and assemble every bits blindfolded,he is the Yoda of the present time,i think...

anyway,i related to him what that dude who sold me the cam,he slowly stretched his wrinkly hands under the shelves and showed me a 6v batt(like AA batt,only slimmer and smaller),exactly the same as wrapping up the 1.5v X04 button cells together,told me the same thing,only additional tip was that i have to slip a one cent or 5 cents coin so that it could get the electric contact and flow.superb!

got back at work,first thing i did before checkin the mails,got em out of the box and experiment-TADAAAAAAA!!!!!!IT JOLLY WORKED,MATE!!!!

cool,now i can go electro retro!(don't tell ebok!!!)

Googled the song "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division, and was suprised to see Nouvelle Vague,a bossa nova band (or should i say experimental..) played the cover of the above.instantly,i felt in love with the band already.

Vroomed down to our local HMV,couldn't get the track that they played,but i got something else.the one that i bought, have a another cover track that they recorded-"Truefaith."

The weather is super Hot outside and at times i gazed up above,there weren't any clouds but big blue sky.had my shades on,shorts and sleeveless tee and my vans hi-top to match the killer sunny theme.

it's been busy lately and not enough sleep too.yes,my beloved team didn't make it to the finals,but truly,it was a hard fight at stamford bridge the other night.had to force myself to wake up at 3am,watched the game and had to report to work at 6am all the way to 10pm yesterday.my eyes were so tired and by the time i hit the highway,i had to speed at 120km/h to reduce myself from falling asleep.damn it was crazy.

this morning,
i woke up feeling like a new man.
was so bright and sunny.

cleared all the mess at work and now contemplating whether to leave work early or not.everybody looked tired and lazy,myself included.wake up!it's friday!

feels like goin' out and go trigger happy,but i didn't bring my cam along,oh such negligence!still thinking of servicing ebok's seagull tlr,but i wonder how much will it cost?sounds fun though.

been awhile we didn't go out and skate,kinda missing all the fun already,but my knee still in a bad shape,i should see the doc and see what he'll say.OH what!!!(still got me painkillers to soothe though..)

EVICTED!!

btw,i was evicted from the crib,was real shocked when i came back and the locks of the front and rear doors were replaced.so,i've no choice but to go home.poor me.*sob*
