The Living Dead-London Suede

truly,i was destined to catch hold of Suede's non-album single 'Stay Together',and yesterday,i was drawn to step into a cd store in the crowded Parkway Parade shopping centre,like a scanning device; my fingers scrolled down the rows of cds,squinted eyes and i almost screamed for joy,as i unbelievably got what i've been looking for all this while.it was a bit pricey,but i grabbed the cd close tight to my hands,darted straight to the counter and dug deep into my pockets,and nothing could stop me from buying it.and as i handed over to the cashier,he gently asked for,"$10.80 please,sir."oh boy was i really happy-at discounted rate-50%-the whole store,in fact the whole mall,the whole nation,celebrating the Great Singapore Sale.and no wonder the place was packed with people of all shapes and sizes.

The Heatwave

For the many years i've been under sun,at both work and play times,i swear it has never been this hot so far-and i'm not the only one grumbling.we were running a family day event at the wet park yesterday,it was too hot to do anything actually,what started off as a beautiful sunny day turned to burning temperature at noon,clear blue skies with not a single cloud above.there were even some who approached me to intensify the fan speed,coz it doesn't seemed to be effective at all,we were all caught under the tentage,sweating and praying that the rain would come and we were all punished quite badly.and not only in the day it's hot,even at nights too.
