Viva La Revolution

tropical sunshine hits the eastern side of singapura today,a big group of students camping on the grass patch just by the beach, soft faint music playing on their pa system, the occasional slurring announcements by their coordinators and the striking rays of sun, blinding the eyes of every boys and girls but yet, they looked happy.

why?

the goddamn school holidays are back again.

like a curse, the resort and the vicinity surrounding it,is a popular haunt for both adults and children especially during this midyear and yearend schoolbreaks.family days, barbeque, drinking sessions, birthday parties, wedding solemnizations, companies dinner and dance, all sorts of occasions, all sorts of parties.

i ain't complaining.i don't mind the extra work,i love my job and i handle it right as far as i know.

and so i went to the office this morning, some 'negative' comments from colleagues about the game this morning but i told em',"had enough!"
my boss passed me a stack of papers, and one of it was the june holidays programme which clearly indicated me to be the telematch gamehost at two separate places-wild wild wet and at the lawn just by the lobby-on weekends during the bloody holidays.

i'm ok with it.it's the holidays, yeah i know, and like i said we've to work extra hard each time they shut the schools and the kids come running here.yes and that's my problem that i complain about.kids.ugly kids.they come in packs and the whole place will be crowded with this lot.don't get me wrong.it's just me.i just hate crowded places and i've gotta join a long queue to get my food,a long queue to relief myself at the loo and i've gotta move slow if i'm pushing a trolley through a jungle of school holiday merry makers.that's what i'm bitchin about.it's just me.

i hate queuing so much and i hate queuing during the period when the time frame i've got is so tight and most occupied with work!

come to think of it,if not because of em' flockin here in my workplace,i won't be working here right,as they contribute a certain percentage of revenue on whatever that they spent on.and i used to be like them as well.(hell why am i so mad?sign of getting 'older' & 'wiser' i guess)

and to those guys who picked on us liverpool followers, last night game was a good game after all,yes we lose and we can't sing that Queen's song but that doesn't mean we can't move on.there's always next time, and till next time we'll meet.so don't start.

sunshine, spoilt slow moving creatures, long queues at the loo and the angst of a fan's defeated beloved team.

OLE!
